About Me: I was born and raised in Manchester, England, and received a Catholic education at Loreto Grammar School. I moved to the United States in 2004 to attend Boston College at the Lynch School of Education. While at BC, I taught in the Religious Education program at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Chestnut Hill.
I have been a member of the St. Patrick School faculty since 2008. My teaching philosophy is that all children can learn when the content is presented in a meaningful way and when they are actively engaged in their learning.
My interests include traveling (especially back home to England!), cooking and baking, music, theater, and classic film.
Education: B.A. in Elementary Education and English, Boston College
Massachusetts Elementary Teaching License (Gr. 1-6)
Memorable Teaching Moment: The joy of seeing my students receive their First Holy Communion.
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
