About Me:   I grew up in Reading where I was involved in the visual arts at the high school while also participating in various athletics. I was co-captain of the Varsity basketball team and track team. I received a BFA during my undergraduate studies and received my masters in 2014. I had the great fortune to work as a special needs para-educator within the Reading school district. This role nurtured a love of working closely and connecting with children of all ages and abilities. It has also been an asset in providing me with valuable experience that strengthened my teaching in the art classroom. I had an incredible visual art student teaching experience working with many students and alongside a highly knowledgeable art educator. To witness my art students accomplish something they thought beyond their reach was truly amazing.
