About Me:  Teaching is a second career for me.  After college I worked in the engineering field, took a sabbatical to raise a family and began to work in the school system.  This is my 4th year in Catholic education and I am thrilled to be here at the Saint Patrick School.  In my spare time I can be found outside, in and around Ipswich, with my dog Hachi.  I enjoy yoga, cooking and crafting pottery.

Memorable Teaching Moment:  This would have to be when a 6th grader was designing her Tiny House.  In her draft I questioned the height of items such as the door, counter-top, and shower.  When she realized her scale drawing equated to a height of 4 feet, 2 feet and 4 feet respectively, she bonked her hand on her forehead and nearly fell over.  It was great to see that ‘ah ha’ moment as she realized that the drawing has to be reflective of the real thing.

Today, give yourself permission to be outrageously kind, irrationally warm, and improbably generous. I promise it will be a blast.
