About Me: I was born in Florida but as a Navy brat grew up on both coasts. I worked as an architect after college. Through a chance situation to help out at St. Joseph School in Medford, I learned that I was happier teaching middle school students and so earned my certification for math and science about 10 years ago. My husband and I enjoy exploring cities, significant buildings, and hiking trails.
Education: Batchelor of Design and Master of Arts in Architecture – University of Florida
Master of Education- Cambridge College
Memorable Teaching Moment: The reaction of a student from China after reading the various passages from the Old Testament that I had assigned for the non-Christians in the class to help them understand our need for a Savior: Why don’t they stop making the same mistake?
Luke 24:32 – “Were not our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us on the way and opened the Scriptures to us?”
