About Me: I have been teaching in Catholic schools for 32 years and have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful students, parents and teachers. My experience encompasses teaching grades K- 8 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Norwood, Massachusetts, Manassas, Virginia, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and now Stoneham- I have been blessed to pursue my passion for teaching. I have two amazing children who reside in Pennsylvania; and my husband and I are now enjoying our time in New England.
My interests include traveling and exploring historical sites, spending time with my family and following our Sox, Pats, Bruins and Celtics.
Education: I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University
Honors and Awards: I have been nominated for the Apple Teacher Award and Teacher Impact Award while teaching in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Memorable Teaching Moment: My most memorable teaching moment was putting on a play about the “Conversion of Saint Paul to Christianity” with Bishop Rhoades of the Diocese of Harrisburg in attendance. He enjoyed our performance so much, he invited us to the Diocesan Center in Harrisburg to perform for the Superintendent of Schools and a host of visiting priests –what a thrill!
