Saint Patrick School Community,
What an exciting time of the year that always seems to fly by so quickly because there is so much going on! We will try to slow things down as much as we can here at the school so we can enjoy every moment of what this Thanksgiving and Christmas season has to offer. I want to wish each and every family here at St. Patrick’s a Happy Thanksgiving and I pray that everyone gets to enjoy this special time with their families and thank God for the blessings that have been bestowed upon us.
I want to express my gratitude and recognize the hard work and many, many hours that the Mother’s Club and all of our volunteers put into the Christmas Fair to make it such a big success. The school can’t thank you all enough. We will have some final numbers soon in regards to the financial success of the fair, but preliminary numbers are pointing to it being a good fundraiser on top of being a great community event.
December’s calendar will be coming out soon and there are some very special dates on it for parents to take note of. December 1st and 2nd are half days for parent-teacher conferences; please remember to sign up if you would like to have one. The ½ day of school on December 23rd has been cancelled and there will be no school.
The Christmas Pageant for grades PreK-5 is scheduled for December 16th. This year the pageant will start at 4:00pm in the church. Right after the pageant, St. Patrick School and PTO will be hosting a pasta dinner in Our Lady of Providence Hall. We will be sending out more information regarding the dinner and how to make reservations for you and your family. We are hoping that the many families that come to watch the children will form a new tradition and join us after the pageant for a community style dinner. The dinner will be catered and sponsored by Spinelli’s catering, and Colarusso’s bakery, which is owned and operated here in Stoneham by one of our St. Patrick School families.
Thank you and God Bless,
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
