About Me:  I grew up in Arlington, Ma and attended Catholic Schools through High School.

I entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph in1954 and began my teaching ministry in 1957. After teaching for 12 years, I was appointed Principal of Saint Catherine School, Charlestown for 7 years, Saint Pius V School, Lynn for 8 years and Saint Joseph School, Medford for 25years.  In 2009 I was granted a sabbatical and participated in a spiritual renewal program in Orange, CA. and a summer trip to Ireland touring and visiting family.

I attended Regis College and earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and Education.  Further courses include courses in Economics from B.U., certification in Supervision and Administration and certification in Reading Disabilities from Regis College.  I also received Religion certification from the Archdiocese of Boston.  Over the years I have completed numerous other courses and workshops in education and theology.

Honors and Awards:

In 2011 I received the Bishop Cheverus Award from Cardinal O’Malley for selfless dedication and commitment and many contributions to advancing Christ’s mission.

Upon completion of my ministry in Medford, I received the Key to the City from Mayor McGlynn as well as citations, commendations, and recognition of my leadership and dedication to the students of Medford from the City Council, Medford School Committee as well as the Medford Police Department..

Hobbies:  Knitting, crocheting, and local sports
